LookBook: Be Your Best Self Seminar

Last night was a great experience! I was on a fashion panel for a seminar given at the gym The House of Payne and presented the 6 must have basics for your wardrobe. Here are some pics of the event and what I wore, but I really didn't have too much time to take pictures. The House of Payne will be sending me pics, so I will be sure to share when I get them!

I made business cards for my blog for the event :) I also had little reminder cards about the basics of your wardrobe for the goody bags.

And onto my look for the evening! Thanks Hannah for taking the pics for me (so nice to have a photographer :) Although when I have someone else taking my pics, I end up having these cheesy smiles! Ha!

I picked this dress because I love the pattern and how comfortable yet flattering it is. I bought it at Back by Popular Demand 2 weeks or so ago, but it was too long, so I had it hemmed. I felt the dress didn't need much more, given the pattern, so I put a neutral blazer with it, also gotten at Back by Popular Demand, and black tights with my payless black booties. I added the necklace from Claires last, but I'm not sold on it. The outfit could have carried itself without it, but I like the extra something it gives. :)
